We are delighted to announce Larne Community Care Centre as our Matchday Matters partner for our upcoming home game against Coleraine.
With over 50 nominations, it wasn’t an easy decision for the club and P&O Ferries to decide on a winner, with lots of fantastic, local charities, schools, community groups and organisations to choose from.
Established in 1994, Larne Community Care Centre has supported local people and families for over 30 years. Based in Antiville, they have grown alongside our community, developing services that respond to local needs.
From Kids Korner, Daycare, afterschool’s and breakfast club to crisis accommodation, Good Morning Larne and community support, they help people of all ages feel connected and supported. Their aim is simple: to improve quality of life and make a positive difference across Larne.
As a club, we believe that the aim of Larne Community Care Centre works closely towards what we try to provide to the people of our town and our community, making it the perfect match as our latest Matchday Matters partner.
Ahead of the match next month, the club’s media team, along with first-team players and staff, will visit Larne Community Care Centre to find out more about what they do on a daily basis and showcase it to our audience across our social media channels to raise awareness of the services that they offer to our community.
On the matchday itself, Larne Community Care Centre will be joining us at Inver Park, having the opportunity to fundraise at the match and spread further awareness of their work with our fanbase.
As part of the initiative, P&O Ferries will donate 5% of the total ticket revenue for the fixture to Larne Community Care Centre, so the more people that come along to the game, the more money we can raise for this fantastic local organisation!
