LARNE Football Club is delighted to today announce a new partnership with multinational insurance organisation, Landmark Underwriting, which will see our Main Stand named the ‘Landmark Main Stand’ for the duration of the 2020/21 season.

The London-based insurance underwriter, which operates across the globe and as far as Asia, was founded by Larne native, Ross Lazaroo-Hood (now CEO). Ross has been following the Inver Reds from afar over the past number of years and jumped at the chance of getting involved with his hometown club.

Speaking on the sponsorship on behalf of Landmark Underwriting, he said: “with being born and bred in Larne I am personally delighted to be able to give this support to my hometown football club.

“It’s another big partnership for us at Landmark and one we are extremely proud to be sponsoring at a time which is exciting for them [Larne] through its regeneration of the club and stadium.

“We hope our support helps Larne Football Club to continue in their excitingly competitive season and beyond. We also wish Kenny Bruce, Gareth Clements, Niall Curneen, Tiernan Lynch and of course the fantastic Larne FC squad all the very best of luck in the season ahead.”

The latest Main Stand sponsorship is another major coup for all involved at Inver Park. Our chairman, Gareth Clements, had the following to say:

“It gives me great pleasure to welcome the London-based Landmark Group to the family, as sponsors of our main stand.

“Landmark Underwriting provide innovative insurance solutions and are committed to offering a first-class and efficient level of service to their global strategic brokering partners, specializing in professional indemnity, after the event and commercial risks.

“Front and centre of making this partnership with Landmark happen was Ross Lazaroo-Hood, Founder & Group Chief Executive Officer and Sitki Gelmen Founder & Group Chief Financial Officer and David Robinson, Founder & Group Underwriting Officer.

“Ross, alongside being a very successful business professional, is an avid football fan, and Honorary President of Westminster Wanderers Football Club.

“Born in Larne and raised in Seacourt alongside Kenny, Ross has extensive experience of the Lloyd’s and London company markets. He has worked in the insurance industry for almost 20 years specialising in professional liability, and has spent time in Barbados, Malaysia, Northern Ireland and England.

“Staying close to his roots, and having watched our current journey unfold from afar over the last number of years, Ross has shown a very keen interest in getting the Landmark brand involved as a commercial partner, to try and support the growth ambitions of the club, alongside our ongoing work in the community.

“It is fantastic to have another Larne boy ‘done good’ on board, helping to support and drive his hometown club onward to the next level.

“We aspire for longevity in all of our partnerships, and having been involved with Niall, Kenny and Ross in recent conversations, I see the naming of the Landmark Stand today as the start of a long, fruitful enterprise, and I look forward to our respective brands both winning and growing together.”
