1889 Sports and Social Club

It’s another Away Days special at 1889 today! Call in to see what’s on offer as they open their doors from 12noon, with pints for £3.50  and four bottles for £10 with the game shown live for those who can’t make it in person.

Linfield

With two games of the season remaining, Linfield lead the table by one point ahead of Cliftonville. David Healy’s men have been in fine form of late, having won seven and drawn two of their last nine outings. In the previous meetings between the clubs this season, Linfield have shaded it so far with two wins to Larne’s one, with a draw in the first game of the campaign.

The Inver Reds

Larne come into the game unbeaten in their post-split fixtures so far, on the back of Tuesday’s 0-0 draw at the Oval. After this game Tiernan Lynch’s men finish off the season with a trip to Crusaders next Saturday to wrap up their regular season ahead of the European play-offs. While a 5th place finish has been secured, the Invermen will want to carry momentum into those play-off encounters.
