OUR OPPOSITION

Newry City currently occupy 9th position in the Sports Direct Premiership table after 13 games played.

The Co. Down side come into tomorrow’s game after back to back defeats in the league after suffering losses to Coleraine and Loughgall.

Having only picked up a single point at the Newry Showgrounds so far this season, Gary Boyle’s men will be hoping to change their fortunes and make their home a fortress going forward.

THE INVER REDS

The Invermen come into the game after a derby day victory last Friday against Carrick Rangers at Inver Park.

Tiernan Lynch’s men will be hoping to pick up all three points to keep pressure on the early frontrunners Linfield.

Leroy Millar and Jaziel Orozco both made their returns from injury in the East Antrim derby last weekend, much to the delight of the home crowd.

It remains to be seen of Andy Ryan will make his return from injury at the Newry Showgrounds, the same ground in which he made his debut back in January.

UPCOMING GAMES

There’s a massive November in store for Tiernan Lynch’s side with clashes with Cliftonville, Linfield, Coleraine and Glentoran in the Sports Direct Premiership.

The Inver Reds will also be in action in the BetMcLean Cup and the Co. Antrim Shield as they look to progress across all competitions.
