With a function in the 1889, it means the Agnew Dreams Spanish Lounge will open from 4.30pm for supporters who are heading off to the Newry Showgrounds.
Newry City
Newry returned to the top flight after a three year absence, gaining promotion when they won last season’s Bluefin Sports Championship.
Darren Mullen added to his squad over the summer with the arrival of Ciaran O’Connor from Glentoran among others adding to former Northern Ireland international Ryan McGivern, who is also among their ranks.
Impressive forwards James Teelan and Lorcan Forde have been among the players to catch the eye so far this term, as Newry come into this game in ninth place, with six points from their eight games to date.
The Inver Reds
Larne will be looking to make amends for Tuesday’s League Cup exit away to Annagh United. A much-changed Larne side crashed out at the last 16 stage when they lost out to a stoppage time winner.
Tiernan Lynch comes into this game as the reigning Manager of the Month, after Larne completed an impressive run of five consecutive victories.
Attacking player Daniel Kearns will be suspended for this game, after his sending off at the BMG Arena on Tuesday evening.
