The Inver Women are on the road again in GW11 of the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership. After being knocked out of the Challenge Cup last week and the arrival of Bernadette Ferreira and Erin Montgomery on deadline day, the team will aim to get back to winning ways against familiar opposition.
TICKETS AND TRAVEL
There will be a cash gate operated at the Bluebell Stadium. Adult entry is priced at £4, concessions at £2 and children at £1.
Located at Rushmore Drive in Lisburn, the stadium is roughly a 45-minute journey from Larne along the A8. Tonight’s venue is also shared and used by Ballymacash Rangers.
OUR OPPONENTS
Lisburn are in a good run of form, going unbeaten in their past five matches, with their last defeat coming against Cliftonville in late May.
Having been defeated by Lisburn twice already, once in the league and the League Cup, Donald Malomo-Paris’ side will be hoping to claim a first victory against the same opponents tonight.
THE INVER REDS
The Inver Women come into tonight’s league game in good form across their last four Sports Direct Premiership outings. Deadline day additions Bernadette Ferreira and Erin Montgomery are eligible for selection, while Sasha Clare will be unavailable for the remainder of the season having headed back to the USA to continue her scholarship.
While the team find themselves nine points behind Lisburn Ladies, a positive result could widen the gap between Larne (7th) and Mid Ulster Ladies (8th) / Ballymena United (9th).
