Our Women’s team kick-off in the Electric Ireland Women’s Challenge Cup against Glentoran Women. Starting in round two alongside the other Premiership teams, the team will hope to improve upon their previous result in the league against the East Belfast outfit.
TICKETS AND ENTRY
Standard admission is priced at £3 for Adults and just £1 for concessions. A cash gate will be used with card payment accepted as well. Children under the age of 12 go free, as well as any of our Academy players who come in their training kit.
Turnstiles will open at 6:30PM and all supporters should enter via the Inver Road. Car parking will be limited before the match.
SUPPORTERS INFORMATION
The kiosk, located in the main car park of the stadium, will be open for tea/coffee/snacks with 1889 Sports and Social Club also open for supporters.
Friday night’s mascots will be our 2012 Academy players.
THE INVER WOMEN
After a recent 5-1 defeat at home against Sion Swifts the team will hope they can improve on this match, with the team experiencing recent success with wins over Derry City and Mid Ulster Ladies. The team had previously met Glentoran at home in May succumbing to a 7-0 defeat.
THE VISITORS
Playing Larne just once the season, Glentoran Women will be coming into the match from the recent break which saw many of their players on international duty representing Northern Ireland.
Sitting currently top of the table in the league, they will bring a wealth of experience having previously won the cup 4 times back-to-back.
Kick-off is 7:30PM tomorrow night.
