Tiernan Lynch’s Invermen turn their attention back to the Sports Direct Premiership tonight as Glenavon visit Inver Park.

Kick-off is 7.45pm and you can find out all of the key information below.

 

TICKET INFORMATION

Tickets for tonight’s game remain available to purchase for supporters here.

Home supporters have the option of watching the game from the Landmark Underwriting Main Stand, Terrace, and Church End, and are encouraged to purchase tickets at the earliest opportunity to avoid missing out on your preferred area of the stadium.

Match tickets will also be available to purchase at Inver Park ahead of kick-off to home supporters only. You can get yours upon arrival from our mini Christmas shop stall from 6.30pm. Admission prices are set at £13 for adults, £9 for concessions and £2 for Primary School ages.

Away supporters will be situated in the P&O Ferries and Larne Port McKay Stand for tonight’s game.

 

CHRISTMAS ENTERTAINMENT

Tonight’s matchday experience will be much more than just 90 minutes of football, with a Christmas theme taking over pre and post-match.

Pre-match

Before the game from 5pm, there will be a mini Christmas market in the fanzone at Inver Park with a variety of stalls including tropic skincare products, RNLI Christmas cards, Extern Larne charity gifts, smores station, mini club shop and much more! The mini club shop stall with have a variety of matchday essentials available to purchase including hats, scarves, flags, pin badges and more.

There will also be kids entertainment in the main carpark within the stadium with teqball tables, inflatable penalty shoot-out and a gaming station. All stations will open from 6.15pm.

At 7pm in the main carpark, we will be hosting our very own Christmas lights switch-on to get you in the festive spirit ahead of kick-off!

1889 Sports and Social Club will also be open from 5pm for those looking to enjoy a pre-match drink before all of the action begins.

Post-match

After the action is completed on the pitch, 1889 Sports and Social Club will be the place to be. Popular local artist Bobbie Garrett will be providing the entertainment with an acoustic set from 9.30pm.

 

FOR THE TOWN CHRISTMAS APPEAL 2023

The supporter led ‘For The Town’ Christmas Appeal continues on tonight, with a call for all supporters attending the match to bring along some much needed items for Larne Food Bank.

 

Christmas Appeal Volunteers will once again be positioned at a table just inside the main gates of Inver Park, close to the main entrance of the 1889 Sports & Social Club, and if you’re able to donate they will very gratefully receive the following items in particular:

  • Breakfast cereal
  • Long life fruit juice
  • Pasta sauce
  • Rice sauce
  • Smash
  • Long grain rice
  • Tinned tomatoes

 

There will also be collection buckets positioned around the stadium on the night for supporters who would like to make cash donations in aid of Larne Food Bank.

 

CAR PARKING

Supporters are to be aware that due to limited spaces, the car park within Inver Park will not be open to supporters attending the game.

For those driving to the game, parking facilities are available in nearby areas including Laharna Retail Park and Riverdale, both of which are just a short walk to the stadium.

We would also like to remind supporters to be mindful and aware of residents who live just outside the stadium and to not block access to private properties when parking your car within this area.

 

THE INVER REDS

With a 0-0 draw at the Ballymena Showgrounds in the Sports Direct Premiership last weekend and a penalty shoot-out defeat to Linfield in the BetMcLean Cup on Tuesday night, the Invermen will be looking to bounce back with all three points at Inver Park tonight.

The Inver Reds have shown strong form at Inver Park throughout the league campaign so far, picking up 26 points from a possible 30 so far.

 

THE OPPOSITION

Glenavon have found their best form in recent weeks, going seven unbeaten in all competitions as they head to Inver Park tonight.

The strong form from the Lurgan Blues has seen them climb up to 7th in the standings, just three points behind Coleraine in 6th as the second half of the season gets underway.
