MATCH PREVIEW

The Invermen overcame their Irish Cup disappointment in midweek by bouncing back to a 2-0 victory over Cliftonville at Solitude.

The victory on Tuesday night keeps Tiernan Lynch’s side top of the table with a two point advantage over Linfield going into today’s opening split fixture. The Invermen are unbeaten in the Sports Direct Premiership since September and will be looking to continue that run with five games remaining as they look to retain the Gibson Cup.

Levi Ives is expected to miss today’s game through injury, while it remains to be seen if Cian Bolger will be fit after going off injured at Solitude on Tuesday night.

Crusaders come to Inver Park with four wins in their last five Sports Direct Premiership games and will be raring to go after a two week break since their last fixture.

The Crues will be looking to end the season on a high as a fitting tribute to manager Stephen Baxter, who will be departing at the end of the season.
