Our visitors

It has been a difficult start to the 2022/23 Premiership campaign for Dungannon Swifts. Dean Shiels side have won just one of their opening 13 league games. Their latest reverse came at the hands of Glentoran. Despite putting in a spirited display and seeing Gerardo Bruna score from inside his own half, the Swifts eventually lost 3-1 at the Oval, on Saturday.

Shiels also has a headache in defensive with summer signings Caolan Marron and Darren Cole among their injured stars at present.

The Inver Reds

Larne returned to winning ways in emphatic fashion on Friday evening, with a 4-1 victory at home to Crusaders. The win was enough to lift Tiernan Lynch’s men back into second spot in the table.

The last month has proven to be a particularly fruitful one for striker Lee Bonis, who has scored six goals in his last four outings. Strike partner Paul O’Neill has also steadily added to his impressive total, meaning the front two now boast 15 goals between them.
