Ards

Matthew Tipton’s side come to Inver Park ready to embark on a Championship campaign. The North Down side will hope to build a promotion push in the forthcoming season, with former Larne striker Daniel Reynolds in fine goalscoring form through their pre-season campaign. Tipton himself is no stranger to promotion from the 2nd tier, having guided Portadown back to the Premiership in 2020.

The Inver Reds

With Tiernan Lynch’s side having beaten Warrenpoint 1-0 on Thursday evening, Saturday’s game is likely to be an opportunity to give minutes to those who didn’t play the full 90 minutes at Milltown. Paul O’Neill, a recent signing from Cliftonville, came on as a sub at Warrenpoint and could be in line for his first taste of Inver Park action as a home player.
