OUR OPPOSITION
Crusaders come into tonight’s league meeting after suffering a surprise elimination in the Irish Cup to NIFL Championship side Ards last weekend.
Stephen Baxter’s side also tasted defeat in their last league encounter as Linfield ran out 1-0 winners at Seaview on the 2nd January.
Crusaders will be looking to pick up all three points tonight to cut down the gap to the top three in the league.
THE INVER REDS
After Irish Cup progression was secured with a 4-1 win over H&W Welders last weekend, focus now turns back to the Sports Direct Premiership for the Invermen.
Tiernan Lynch’s men are undefeated in the league since September and will be looking to continue that run at Seaview tonight.
The two sides met as recently as last month in the Sports Direct Premiership, with goals from Andy Ryan and Lee Bonis securing a 3-0 victory at Seaview.
UPCOMING GAMES
After tonight’s game, Tiernan Lynch’s men are back in action on Saturday 20th January with a trip to Stangmore Park to take on Dungannon Swifts.
The Invermen will then have a quick turnaround for the Co. Antrim Shield final on Tuesday 23rd January before welcoming Newry City to Inver Park on the 26th January to end the month.
