OUR OPPOSITION

Cliftonville have started the season in a good run of form winning three of their opening four Sports Direct Premiership games, with their only defeat coming to Linfield on Tuesday night.

New signing Ben Wilson has settled into the squad quickly, netting three times in the league so far, with Rory Hale also impressing in midfield during the opening stages of the campaign.

It remains to be seen if new signing Sam Ashford will be available for selection after joining the North Belfast side at the start of the week.

THE INVER REDS

After a 0-0 draw at the Coleraine Showgrounds last Saturday, the Inver Reds will be looking to get back to winning ways at Solitude.

New arrival Scott Allan could be in line to make his debut for the club after being granted international clearance yesterday. Jaziel Orozco is still awaiting international clearance before being able to make his debut for Tiernan Lynch’s side.

Tiernan Lynch’s side are still unbeaten in the Sports Direct Premiership and will be looking to build on two successive clean sheets to come away with all three points.

UPCOMING GAMES

Tiernan Lynch’s side are back at Inver Park on Saturday 2nd September as we welcome Newry City in the Sports Direct Premiership.

The Inver Reds will then begin their defence of the Co. Antrim Shield the following Tuesday in a repeat of last year’s final as they take on Linfield at Windsor Park.
