OUR OPPOSITION

Ballymena United currently occupy 11th position in the Sports Direct Premiership table after 18 games played.

The Sky Blues have suffered four straight defeats in the league and were on the end of a heavy 4-0 defeat to Linfield last weekend at Windsor Park.

Jim Ervin’s men will be hoping to make home advantage count this afternoon to pick up a crucial three points in their bid to close the gap and start to move up the table.

THE INVER REDS

After a perfect November, winning all five games in all competitions, the Invermen will head to the Ballymena Showgrounds this afternoon full of confidence.

Tiernan Lynch’s men currently occupy 2nd in the standings and know that all three points will take them to the top of the table.

Andy Ryan and Leroy Millar were on the scoresheet in last week’s 2-1 victory over Glentoran and both players will be looking to continue that form later this afternoon.

UPCOMING GAMES

It’s the start of a busy month for Tiernan Lynch’s side with six games still to come after today’s visit to the Ballymena Showgrounds.

On Tuesday night, attention turns to the Bet McLean Cup as the Inver Reds welcome Linfield to Inver Park before welcoming Glenavon just three days later in the Sports Direct Premiership.

Tickets for all upcoming home games this month are available to purchase here.
