LARNE Ladies under-13’s continued their pre-season preparations with a hard fought 1-0 victory over a very determined Cliftonville Ladies under-13’s side.
Larne dominated the game for long spells, showing great teamwork throughout the match. They also had a determination and intensity which has served them well throughout pre-season so far.
The pressure finally paid off as Larne got the only goal of the game with a perfect in-swinging corner from Rebecca Hawkins which was flicked in at the near post by Anna Clark.
John Clark, manager of the team, said: “It was a fantastic performance from the girls who have showed a determination to succeed throughout our pre-season so far.
“All of the girls have been working really hard and they have been able to show that out on the pitch. We are all proud of what they have been achieving throughout our pre-season games and these performances have put us in good shape for the new season.”
