WE are delighted to announce Larne Ladies will be the first team to play a competitive game of football at Inver Park after seven months – with supporters also having the opportunity to attend.

The Inver Women will be in NIWFA Section 2A action next Tuesday (22nd September) as they come up against Crewe United Ladies, with kick-off at 8pm.

We are also pleased to welcome supporters back to Inver Park for competitive football, with all those in attendance accommodated in the Main Terrace.

In line with the current government guidelines, we will have a track and trace system in place as well as a number of measures to keep you safe, including hand sanitising stations and two metre social distancing. We kindly ask that you adhere to these measures at all times when attending the game.

Speaking on the announcement Larne Ladies manager William Noble, said: “We are incredibly excited to be able to have the opportunity to play at Inver Park again this season and especially to be able to have fans cheering us on.

“We are one of the few Ladies teams in Northern Ireland able to avail of the facilities we have at Inver Park and over the past couple of seasons having the Inver crowd behind us really has made the difference in getting some very important results.

“Thinking back to some of the big home games in the past two seasons we have had crowds to support us that I’m confident no other ladies’ teams could match. It’s a great sign of the positivity and support behind our club!

“Although we are in difficult times with Covid-19, the club are able to offer a safe environment for supporters for come along and support and we hope to welcome along a good support for our upcoming games, kicking things off on Tuesday night against Crewe United Ladies.”

As always, the match will be FREE to enter for supporters. However, we will have donation buckets on the gates for the Ladies setup to help with funding and all of the challenges that the pandemic has brought. All donations will be gratefully received.
