We are delighted to announce Kofi Balmer has signed a contract extension at the club.
The Northern Ireland under-21 international (pictured above with assistant manager Seamus Lynch) arrived at the club in June from Ballymena United, making his debut away to Bala Town in the Uefa Conference League.
He settled into life at Inver Park immediately, cementing his place at the heart of the defence and has also bagged six goals to date this season.
The 21-year-old will now be at Inver Park until the end of the 2023/24 season, much to the delight of his manager Tiernan Lynch.
“Kofi has proven the quality we knew he had since his arrival in the summer,” Tiernan said.
“We felt full-time football would really help him to continue his progress and Kofi feels that himself.
“For someone of just 21 years of age he has a lot of experience in the senior game under his belt. Like any young player he knows he has plenty of developing to do and he is working hard at that every day.
“We’re delighted that will continue to be with us for the next two and a half years and we look forward to what that brings for Kofi and the club.”
