LARNE picked up their first win of the Premiership season in the first home outing of the campaign with a 2-1 victory over Glentoran at Inver Park.
After a goalless first half Sean Graham broke the deadlock, having burst through the heart of the Glens defence after a pass from Cricky Gallagher on 52 minutes.
A deserved second arrived on 72 minutes when Larne forced a turnover in the Glens half and Paul O’Neill slipped Matty Lusty through on goal for a clinical finish.
Glentoran reduced the arerars on 87 minutes when Aaron McEneff scored from the penalty spot, but Gary Haveron’s men saw through the win.
