Goals either side of half-time from Leroy Millar and Andy Ryan clinched a 2-1 victory away to Carrick Rangers on Boxing Day.
An impressive first half was capped by Leroy Millar’s neat turn and finish in the 27th minute, controlling Aaron Donnelly’s ball from deep as he broke the deadlock in style.
Andy Ryan then scored what turned out to be the winner, getting on the end of Millar’s cross from the left, to make it 2-0 on 76 minutes.
Carrick pulled a goal back within two minutes through Curtis Allen to ensure a nervy finish but Larne held on for a win which keeps Tiernan Lynch’s side one point leaders Linfield.
