We are delighted to announce the signing of Anna Walsh, who joins Larne FC Women ahead of the upcoming season.
Anna arrives at Inver Park following three years with Glentoran, having previously spent time with Linfield. Anna brings international pedigree, having represented Northern Ireland at Under-15, Under-16 and Under-17 levels.
Her experience within the top level of the domestic game, combined with her exposure to international football at youth level, adds further quality and competition to the squad as preparations continue for the new campaign.
Manager Matthew Crawford welcomed the signing:
“I am delighted to welcome Anna to the club. Throughout preseason so far Anna has demonstrated a really good work ethic and come into training in good physical condition which is pleasing to see alongside her ability.
“Anna has displayed important characteristics which I believe will benefit our squad going forward with her hard work, dedication and driven nature to constantly challenge and improve herself.
“I look forward to working with Anna more closely as the season unfolds being able to play a key part in her development in a variety of areas, seeing her improvement individually and contribution to the team this season.”
Speaking after joining the club, Anna said:
