We are delighted to announce that Inver Park will host three Northern Ireland U19 international games later this month.
The U19 national team squad, managed by our very own Gareth McAuley, will be taking part in the UEFA European Under-19 Championship Prep Tournament and will face tests against Hungary, Czech Republic and Portugal.
The invitational tournament will be seen as strong preparation for the side as they look to prepare for the finals of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship, which will be held in Northern Ireland next year. As hosts, this means that Gareth McAuley’s side will qualify automatically, making preparation tournaments, such as the one this month, important tests for the side.
Gareth McAuley took over the management of the Northern Ireland U19 squad back in August in what is his first step into management after an illustrious playing career.
The schedule of games to take place at Inver Park later this month are as follows:
Wednesday 15th November: Northern Ireland vs Hungary – 7pm
Saturday 18th November: Northern Ireland vs Czechia – 7pm
Tuesday 21st November: Northern Ireland vs Portugal – 7pm
