Final opportunity to support Brighter Christmas campaign

The Larne Supporters Club’s annual charity drive ‘A Brighter Christmas’ comes to an end on Friday evening (17thDecember) with a cash collection before and during the visit of Linfield to Inver Park.

Our ‘Brighter Christmas’ volunteers will be at the entrance to the stadium and visible around Inver Park throughout the Danske Bank Premiership game. Please, if you are able, donate a little to help those in need.

Thanks to the incredible generosity and community spirit of the Red & White Army, along with the help of our charity partners and fantastic local community groups, ‘A Brighter Christmas’ has provided significant donations of food, hygiene essentials and vouchers for fresh produce to those who need it most in our community.

However, hardship doesn’t begin and end at this time of year, and the final cash collection will seek to help those in our community experiencing poverty beyond the holidays, and into the long month of January.

Your donations will be added to the total collected during the ‘Food Bank’ and ‘Essentials’ events at Inver Park and given (with Gift Aid, courtesy of Larne FC’s charity Brighter Futures) to our charity partners Larne Food Bank and Equality Period; as well as the community groups who have supported the campaign throughout.

These vital funds will be used to purchase supplies to directly help those in need in the new year.

The three Supporters Clubs (The Inver Red & Whites SC, The Larne Reds SC and the Larne Northern Ireland SC) would like to express their deep gratitude for your generosity and support throughout the last month.

You have directly helped to make it ‘A Brighter Christmas’ in our community.
