European play-off final: ticketing and travel information

May 12, 2022 | Archive

With just over 24 hours to go until the Invermen travel to The Oval in search of European football, we are pleased to report that tickets continue to sell well as expected due to the high levels of interest in this year’s play-off final.

In what is now undoubtedly the biggest game of the season, we are counting on your support from the away end to help our players get over the line in our final fixture of the 2021/22 campaign.

Are you thinking of attending the game? Read below for some important ticketing and travel information ahead of tomorrow night.

TICKETING

Match tickets are now on sale online via the Glentoran website, costing £12 for adults and £8 for concessions. These can be purchased at www.glentoran.com/tickets right up until kick-off; however, we encourage supporters to buy early to allow time for the sale to be processed and for tickets to be sent via email.

When buying your ticket online, you should select the ‘away’ tab on the Glentoran vs Larne landing page in order to ensure entry into the away section.

While there will be no cash gate at The Oval for adult and concession tickets, children under the age of 10 years old will be able to attend the game by paying £1 upon entry to the stadium on the night. There is no need for children who meet this criteria to buy tickets online ahead of kick-off.

TRAVEL & PARKING

Due to high demand, all Supporters’ Club buses have sold out for this game. We encourage you to get creative with your travel arrangements to ensure both yourself and as many other supporters can attend the final as possible – why not organise a carpool with friends, family or neighbours. The more people who can attend tomorrow’s final and give their support to the Inver Reds, the better!

For those travelling by car, parking is recommended around Mersey Street and its surrounding areas. Please be mindful of local residents when parking, avoiding any driveways and access areas to homes in the relevant streets.

THE FINAL: GLENTORAN VS LARNE

Tomorrow night’s European play-off final is a huge game for both sides, with a spot in this summer’s UEFA Europa Conference League awaiting the winner. Our European experience in summer 2021, albeit limited as a result of COVID-19, was a dream come true for all of our supporters and we will do everything we can to ensure continental football returns to Inver Park in July.

The final itself will kick-off at 7.45pm, with Tiernan Lynch’s side heading into the clash following in fine form, which has resulted in just one goal conceded in our last six unbeaten outings.

We look forward to seeing a large away support at The Oval tomorrow night!
