We are delighted to announce the signing of winger Ella Parker from Ballyclare Comrades.

The 16-year-old arrives at Inver Park with the aim of making the step up to play Premiership football in 2024, having helped her former side Ballyclare Comrades to a second-place finish in last season’s NIWFA Championship.

Parker’s career began with Antrim Rovers in the NIWFA Division 4 in 2021, where she achieved promotion to the NIWFA Division 3. From there, the exciting young winger made the step up to Ballyclare Comrades and has now completed her way through the divisions as a Sports Direct Women’s Premiership campaign awaits with Donald Malomo-Paris’ side.

Discussing her move to the Inver Reds, Parker said:

“I’m very happy to have signed for Larne. I’ve been down to meet some of the girls already and to see the facilities around the club, and I just knew it was the place for me – I can’t wait to get to know the team more.

“I had a great experience in senior football with Ballyclare last season. Once I started playing at the senior level, I feel like this helped to develop me and made me a stronger player which has allowed me to step up to where I am today.

“I’m looking forward to working hard in pre-season by testing my fitness and seeing where I am ability-wise with the rest of the team. My aim is to get as much game time as possible next season.”

Head of Women’s Recruitment William Noble expressed his delight at his second signing of the window:

“It’s great to bring new talent to the club and I believe that Ella is an excellent young player who will be able to learn and develop within our team culture.

“When speaking to Ella, it was evident that she is keen to grow as a player and there’s no better place to do that than at Inver Park with the facilities and professionalism which we are able to offer our players.

“Ella will join up with the team in pre-season, once again making the step up after a successful season in the Championship last year. We look forward to monitoring her progress during this period and I have no doubt she will develop quickly and become a key part of our plans.”
