We are delighted to announce the loan signing of Harry Flowers, from Vanarama National League side Solihull Moors.

The 23-year-old central defender arrives at Inver Park on a loan deal until January.

Harry, grandson of former Wolves and England midfielder Ron, began his professional career at Burnley, where we played alongside current Larne goalkeeper Conor Mitchell.

From Turf Moor, the 6’1 defender moved on to then National League side Guisely, before being snapped up by Solihull Moors for an undisclosed fee.

Larne boss Tiernan Lynch said: “We are very glad to bring Harry to the club.

“He is a ball-winning central defender and we feel he will add a bit of bite to our backline and compliment the defenders we already have here.

“We are always looking to add quality players and Harry comes highly recommended to us, especially from Conor Mitchell who has played alongside him.

“Harry will train with us next week and come into contention for selection for the game away to Glentoran on Saturday 7th September.”

Harry has been assigned the number two shirt at Inver Park.
