LARNE Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Darren Spence, who has joined the club’s marketing department on work placement for the upcoming year.
Another local student from Ulster University, Darren joins as a Marketing Assistant and spoke to our website about the year ahead.
Darren said, “I’m really happy and looking forward to working at Larne Football Club for the duration of my placement year. I have already witnessed some of the incredible work the marketing team is doing within the club and I am excited to get started and work alongside Chris and his team.
“I hope to work within the marketing industry after I graduate from university and believe this opportunity will help me to further develop my skills and use the knowledge I have acquired in a professional environment to be an asset to both the marketing team and the club.
Marketing Executive, Chris Liddle added, “Darren has been working at Inver Park for just over one week now and we are very impressed with his knowledge and work ethic. I am confident that the experience he will gain during his time at Inver Park will enhance his CV and provide an advantage post-graduation.
“Our team already boasts several success stories, with volunteers using their experience gained at Inver Park to secure full-time work, and I hope Darren will be next to achieve this.
