We are delighted to announce our annual Family Carol Service will take place this year on Wednesday 13th December, at 7.30pm.
This year’s Carol Service will once again be hosted in the Church End stand at Inver Park, with our carols accompanied by the 1st Larne BB Old Boys Silver Band.
We’ll also have some special music on the night, provided by the very talented Music Yard and some other members of the local community.
After the service, everyone in attendance is invited to 1889 Sports & Social Club for tea, coffee and hot refreshments, with festive treats also available.
The event is free and entry into the stadium will open from 7pm, with the short service beginning at 7.30pm sharp, lasting around 45 minutes.
Club Chaplain Rev Ian Cahoon will lead the event. He said: “Our annual Carol Service has become a real highlight in my role as Chaplain.
“The last number of years have been a very special time together both as we enjoyed the carols and sometime together in the 1889 afterwards.
“At a busy time of year, it also offers us an opportunity to think about what Christmas is really all about. We’re also looking forward to having our Academy Chaplain, Pastor John Fitzsimmons involved this year as well as other church leaders from the town.
“The 1st Larne BB Old Boys Silver Band have been a brilliant accompaniment for our Carols each time we’ve run this event and it promises to be another great night for the whole family.”
We look forward to welcoming the community to our facilities for a fantastic event, and hope that you will join us on the night.
