We can confirm goalkeeper Angela Buckley has left Larne Women to join Lisburn Rangers.
The shot stopper arrived while the club was in the Championship, going on to become an integral part of the team which saw the Inver Women clinch an historic promotion to the Premiership for the first time.
She now leaves with the best wishes of everyone at the club as she moves on in search of regular first team football with the Lisburn side.
Director of Women’s Football at the club, William Noble paid tribute to Angela, saying:
“After a call from Lisburn Rangers informing us of their interest in Angie the club reluctantly accepted a transfer request for her to move.
“Angie played a key role in our 2022 Championship success and whilst the arrival of Kate limited Angie’s first team opportunities we very much valued her a key player and hoped she would stay at the club.
“I understand that Angie wants to play first team football and I thank her for her hard work and commitment during her time and Larne and wish her every success at her new club Lisburn Rangers.
Following their first win of the season on Wednesday night, Donald Malomo-Paris’ side are next in action on Friday 9th June, at home to Mid Ulster Ladies (7.45pm).
