We are pleased to announce the Boxing Day derby at home to Carrick Rangers will now kick-off at 5.30pm.
It will be the Invermen’s first festive fixture at Inver Park in three years, with special events planned ahead of kick-off.
The 1889 will be open from lunchtime, while there will be a number of events to make it day for all of the family.
General Manager Niall Curneen said: “Boxing Day is one of the first games everyone looks for when the fixture list comes out.
“Lots of people are back in Larne for Christmas and it may be a day when even more families than usual come to a match together.
“We were delighted to be at Inver this year after two years of being away from home and we want to make the most of it.
“We are aware everyone has difference traditions at that time of year, but we feel moving the kick-off to 5.30pm allows everyone to make the game.
“In the coming weeks we’ll also be announcing some of the plans we have to allow families to make a day of it at Inver.
“Coming to a match at Inver has become more than a game of football and this Boxing Day will epitomise that.”
