LEE Bonis added two more goals to his tally to help Larne record a 4-1 win over Newington in the quarter-finals of the Clearer Water Irish Cup.
After a lacklustre first half, goals straight after the break from Levi Ives and Bonis put them in firm control.
Bonis completed the brace midway through half – making it 22 goals for the seaosn – before Newington grabbed a late consolation, thanks to Eamon Hughes’ spot kick.
An own goal from Aodfionn Casey came as the last kick of the ball to wrap up the victory and ensure Larne’s third semi-final berth in the last four seasons, where we will take on Cliftonville at the end of March.
