Goalkeeper Mike Argyrides will leave Inver Park once his contract expires next month.

The Canadian shot stopper arrived at Inver Park last summer, having spent time in Northern Ireland for the previous season at Dundela before the campaign was cut short due to Covid-19.

He put pen to paper at Inver Park last June and was part of the squad which made the club’s debut in European football the following month.

Argyrides departs Inver Park having made five appearances throughout the 2021/22 campaign.

Boss Tiernan Lynch said: “We thank Mike for his contribution to the club over the past season.

“Throughout his time at the club he was competing against some very good goalkeepers, in the form of Rohan Ferguson and Conor Devlin.

“I want to thank him for his professional approach both in training and on matchdays. I speak for everyone at the club when I wish him well for the future.”
