We are delighted to announce our annual Family Carol Service will take place on Tuesday 20th December, at 7pm.
This year’s Carol Service will once again be hosted in the Church End stand at Inver Park, with our carols accompanied by the 1st Larne BB Old Boys Silver Band.
We’ll also have some special music on the night, provided by the very talented Music Yard and some other members of the local community.
After the service, everyone in attendance is invited to 1889 Sports & Social Club for tea, coffee and hot chocolate refreshments, with festive treats also available.
The event is free and entry into the stadium will open from 6.30pm, with the short service beginning at 7pm sharp.
Club Chaplain Rev Ian Cahoon will lead the event. He said: “Our annual Carol Service has become a real highlight in my role as Chaplain.
“Last year’s service was a very special time together both as we enjoyed the carols and sometime together in the 1889 afterwards.
“At a busy time of year, it also offers us an opportunity to think about what Christmas is really all about. We’re also looking forward to having our Academy Chaplain, Pastor John Fitzsimmons involved this year.
“The 1st Larne BB Old Boys Silver Band have been a brilliant accompaniment for our Carols each time we’ve run this event and it promises to be another great night for the whole family.”
We look forward to welcoming the community to our facilities for a fantastic event, and hope that you will join us on the night.
