Sensory Bags and Ear Defenders
In conjunction with our partners at AEL Larne, our staff and volunteers have undergone CALM training and as a result, the club is able to make sensory bags and ear defenders available at all home games. These bags contain ear defenders, fidget toys and other items which can help children and young people with autism / ASD to manage a matchday at Inver Park.
Sensory bags can be booked in advance of matchday (email clairetaggart@larnefc.com) and will be available throughout each matchday. Supporters are required to sign that they will return their sensory bag at the end of the game. Sensory bags can be collected from the ticket office at Inver Park.
All sensory bags are sterilised between users and there are sterilising wipes provided in each sensory bag.
Please note – ear defenders are for supporters with autism and sensory processing difficulties who are sensitive to noises and certain sounds. They are not designed to protect against hearing damage due to sound levels.

Development of Accessibility and Inclusivity at Inver Park
At present, there is no hearing loop system within Inver Park, but it is something we are keen to develop and invest in. We are also investigating the potential for audio description, for our supporters with visual impairments, and would be keen to hear from any supporters who would like to avail of this potential opportunity.
If you have any further suggestions, comments or advice on how we can make Inver Park more inclusive and accessible – please email clairetaggart@larnefc.com.
Assistance Dogs
Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas of Inver Park, but supporters are asked to bear in mind noise levels on match day and the potential use of special effects, including strobe lights and pyrotechnics.
Please note – we are unable to look after an assistance dog at the ticket office.
Strobe Lighting
Strobe lighting and pyrotechnics may be used during some match days.
This will be communicated to supporters in advance via signage on-site at Inver Park, through the PA and on our Social Media Channels.
