OKTOBERFEST MATCHDAY EXPERIENCE

Tomorrow night’s matchday experience will be much more than just 90 minutes of football, with our Oktoberfest event taking place before and after the game. Take a look at what it includes:

Beer

1889 Sports & Social Club will be stocked with a new range of traditional German beer for our Oktoberfest theme and will be available to purchase tomorrow night alongside all of your regular matchday favourites.

You will be able to enjoy your beer in Larne FC tankard and stein glasses, which supporters will have the option to purchase and take home with them after the game. Tomorrow night’s Oktoberfest special offer includes an LFC branded stein glass to keep accompanied with two German beers for just £12.50.

Food & Music

Alongside plenty of beer, you will be able to purchase some traditional German cuisine inside 1889 Sports & Social Club both pre and post-match. Those who still want their traditional matchday snack can still do so, with our regular food vans in operation in their normal locations within the stadium.

Post-match, supporters can enjoy a period of traditional Oktoberfest music, before a brand-new group called The Foyer Incident make their 1889 debuts to see you through until the end of the night.

Do I need a match ticket to attend Inver’s Oktoberfest?

You will need a match ticket to attend 1889 Sports & Social before 9.30pm tomorrow night. However, once the match is over, 1889 Sports & Social Club is open to everyone!

MIDNIGHT EXPRESS SHUTTLE BUS

Alongside our Oktoberfest festivities, we will be piloting a ‘Midnight Express’ shuttle bus tomorrow night. The shuttle bus, provided in partnership with Inver Coaches, is completely free of charge for supporters and runs will leave at 11.30pm and 12pm from outside of 1889 Sports & Social Club.

Seats will be filled on a first come, first serve basis and will drop off at the following locations: Circular Rd, Princess Gardens, Smiley Buildings, The Roddens, Linn Rd, Lindara, Killyglen Rd, Ballycraigy Rd, Seacourt, Boyne Square.

CAR PARKING

Supporters are to be aware that due to limited spaces, the car park within Inver Park will not be open to supporters attending the game.

For those driving to the game, parking facilities are available in nearby areas including Laharna Retail Park and Riverdale, both of which are just a short walk to the stadium.

We would also like to remind supporters to be mindful and aware of residents who live just outside the stadium and to not block access to private properties when parking your car within this area.

THE INVER REDS

After last week’s first defeat in the Sports Direct Premiership, Tiernan Lynch’s side have won their two games since against Glenavon and then Knockbreda in the BetMcLean Cup.

Lee Bonis returned in emphatic fashion after replacing the injured Andy Ryan in the first-half at Mourneview Park. The striker got himself a ten minute hat-trick to help the Invermen pick up all three points in a 4-0 victory.

THE OPPOSITION

Crusaders also come into the game on the back of two wins, after victories over Coleraine in the league and Warrenpoint Town in the BetMcLean Cup.

Stephen Baxter’s side have scored nine goals in their past two games, whilst conceding none and the North Belfast side will be hoping to continue that sort of form when they visit Inver Park.
